Hello. I’m Lightsky and I read Warriors most (hence the nickname)
I read the series I think…last year, and I loved it a lot.
So…yeah
I exist
(I just googled it, and there’s a fifth book?!)
What's on your mind?

I find it implausible that the half elf woman Bachel could create earthquakes powerful enough to shake a valley with the energy limits of magic in the series.
I’m worried that advanced healing spells in Eragon’s world require memorizing lots of mathematical formulas and that bothers me since I have always had trouble with math…..
I'm not too fond of the energy limits on magic in Inheritance. Yes I understand the need for limits to make the story interesting. But the energy limits are one limit that seems an unnecessary complication. I like it when magic can do the impossible.
I posted on Reddit about my feelings about energy limits of magic and I didn’t word it too well and got side tracked and the discussions on that site got a bit upsetting and some individuals were convinced that I didn’t understand the potential of Eragon magic……. And that was hurtful…..
I really don’t like it that Eragon had to leave Alagaesia. I just finished listening to an audiobook version of Inheritance and it reminded me of my discontent…….
Does anyone know how Shruikan survived in the time between when Galbatorix murdered his first rider and when Galbatorix claimed him as his own? I imagine some type of magic was involved but it seemed pretty definitive prior to that a dragon died when his/her rider did.
A rider with the power of Greyskull from the He Man franchise would be cool.
Hi everyone!! So sorry I was not online recently. With a new year and school, I had a lot on my plate. I am working on writing my book and I couldn't write the fanfic I promised u guys. I am so sorry for that. I will try to write it as soon as I am on summer break in 2-3 months. I am sorry to those who were waiting for it. You guys will soon get a new story to read (hopefully) and I hope it will have a fandom here. Again, I am so sorry you guys.
In order to kill a Shade you generally have to stab it in the heart with something. But what if the Shade gets shot in this location? Potentially a loaded crossbow could be a very quick way to dispose of these otherwise dangerous foes.
And if you can destroy the Shade that quickly, it won't be hard to counter their attacks with magic either. All you have to do is cast a binding spell and shoot, and the time between those two events is short enough that a decently filled gem should provide more than enough energy. The general rule that I see is that as opponents become more dangerous, a drawn-out slugfest like we typically see becomes less and less of a good idea.
This might sound crazy but its not. in the extra stuff at the back of murtagh Christopher says "is this book 5? No i thought i still had story's to tell before i wrote book 5 so i wrote murtagh." so yes, there is a new in line with main series book coming out. also he mention if there is going to be another short stories and he says (yes, absoloutly)
Can not wait for more eragon

Been thinking about Rider Swords and I finally decided that I would name mine Eldsverð (pronounced Ehlds verth) Or Logi (Old Norse for Fire) This is if I had just one Rider's Sword. If I had two I might not name them.
